This Cookie Policy explains how dwightdavis.com (the "Site") uses cookies and similar technologies. The Site is the business website of Dwight Davis Consulting LLC. It runs Google Analytics 4 for usage measurement and Google Ads conversion tracking for advertising measurement, both loaded through Google Tag Manager. Both set cookies, and both are controlled by the choices you make in the cookie banner. The Site does not run chat software.

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They can be set by the site you visit ("first-party cookies") or by other services that the site loads ("third-party cookies").

Cookies on this Site

One necessary cookie records your cookie choices so you are not asked on every page. It is always set and cannot be switched off.

If you allow analytics, Google Analytics 4 sets first-party cookies (names beginning _ga) to recognise returning visitors and measure usage. If you allow advertising, Google Ads sets cookies to measure which ads produced an enquiry and to build remarketing audiences. Neither is set until you choose, and Consent Mode holds both in a denied state until then.

Third-party requests

Google Fonts (Google LLC). The Site loads typefaces from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google Fonts does not set cookies for typical font requests but may log the IP address of visitors as part of serving font files.
Cloudflare, Inc. DNS resolution. Cloudflare does not set cookies through this Site.
Google Cloud Platform (Google LLC). Hosting via Cloud Run. Standard web server logs (IP, user agent, timestamp) are retained for operational and security purposes for up to 90 days.
Google Tag Manager (Google LLC). Loads the two services below and applies your consent choices.
Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC). Usage measurement. Loads only with consent.
Google Ads (Google LLC). Conversion measurement and remarketing. Loads only with consent.

Your browser controls

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time, and you can change your choices here using Cookie settings in the footer. Blocking cookies will not stop the Site working. It only stops the measurement.

Global Privacy Control

The Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal is honored as an opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information under U.S. state privacy laws. If your browser sends it, advertising and analytics storage default to denied and no data is shared for cross-context behavioural advertising.

This Policy may be updated from time to time. When that happens, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change.
